Well life is sure flying by and ever changing! Thank you for all your concern over my crash. I am fine, besides a little head trauma. But most of you will probably say my head was never right to start with anyways. ha ha..But on to more fun and important things--VEGAS! We had a blast. We didn't think we should go after all that happened the week before, but made a last minute decision that we needed now more than ever to get away and relax. That and great great friends that talked us into it and let us stay in their gorgeous time-share. Thanks Kim & Dan for being so gracious and sharing precious space with us! And thank you Sarah and Chris for talking us into going up one day early and sharing your awesome cabana with us. We are truly blessed with great people in our lives.
We got there last Thursday at 11:OO am and met up with Sarah,Missy & Chris and Jen & Jeremy at the Excalibur Hotel. They had rented a cabana equipped with big screen TV, couch, fridge, tables, ceiling fan, and towels and pool rafts. It was the life. Besides all the drinking and gambling going on all around us, it was great. Parker loved the rock slide, and we had a fun game of keep away with a torpedo toy they had. That night we hung out in the Hotel and at Pizza and the tiniest little chicken wings we have ever seen. The next morning we cleaned up and headed over with Kim & Dan at their time share, and again hopped right in the pool. The kids all had a blast swimming and eating snacks. Saturday( the real reason for going) Alexia had a competition and did great! Two 1st places and one 3rd. In between dances we played baseball with the boys to keep them entertained, in 100* weather I might add. We loved it. Then we hit Chilies for dinner at 8:00 pm, we were all starving. Brooks, Dan and Jason then hit the strip until about midnight that night, me and Kim said we would wonder what they were going to do, but being that all three are x-bishopric members and in the same ward, we had no need to worry! The next day was Sunday and Mother's day, so the guys made us all a yummy breakfast and it was time to come home. The kids are all sunburned and so tired this week and we keep saying I wish we were back in Vegas!
