Lookin Cute for tryouts!

This has been quite an exciting March, Alexia made Copperhills Drill team! I don't know who is more excited me or her! Probably her, but I know what is coming and I can't wait to see her perform and see her be part of a team that is so disciplined and dedicated. They only took 6 new members and a lot of girls tried out. She even did it all with a broken toe. She had a great testimony experience of Fathers blessing to add; She hadn't been able to dance at all on her foot for about 2 weeks, and we didn't know how she could possibly tryout. She asked for a fathers blessing the night before and told us that she just kept praying during the tryout that it wouldn't hurt her, and every time it was her turn she couldn't feel any pain as she leaped, turned and did all kinds of crazy things on it. Call it adrenaline, but I truly believe we have a loving Heavenly Father that knows all of our desires and wants us to be happy, and she was truly blessed! Some people might not think that trying out for drill team is that big a deal, but when you have taken dance since you were 3 years old and had that goal for many years, it is! The next day her whole foot was really swollen! She had to sit out her first competition with Hip dance on Saturday and we hope it will be better by her next one and before first 5:00am drill practice in three weeks. Did I say 5:00 AM? YES I did!

Words of Wisdom by Parker

Sunday:
Parker, "Mom, is uncle Reid on the High Council now?" (His uncle was set apart to be in our Bishopric). Me,"No he is just in the Bishopric now." Parker, "Too bad, I know what the High Councilors do." Me, "Oh, whats that?" Parker, "They are the only ones who can cancel church meetings that is why they are called the High Cancelers!"
He couldn't figure out why I was on the ground laughing so hard after that, I kind of hurt his feelings, but it is just so funny the thing kids think that make so much sense!

DECEMBER 2009

Well I haven't written in a while, so here is a break down of life at the Fullers:

*Had Thanksgiving here, Turkey Frozen, timer didn't pop for 2 hours over when dinner should have been. Used a hair dryer of the stuffing because the bread didn't dry out like it was suppose to. Rolls raised and fell during all this. Marshmallows on yams dissolved. My mom was running out of oxygen. Surprise guest for dinner (no complaints there). Luckily everything tasted OK.

*Two weeks until Christmas, no time to shop. Lots of homework for all the kids.

*Cold, cold, cold. It is FREEZING outside!

*I have been working every night at The Forgotten Carols. My kids have proved to be the best kids any mom could ask for! They have helped Parker with his homework every night. Alexia has made many dinners and even homemade bread stick that were to die for! Brooks has done all the laundry and has driven the kids to scouts, ym, dance and taken them for a few doughnuts(which I thought was nice until I figured out they weren' t the food kind of doughnuts-yes there is a lot of ice on the streets!) So my family can function with out me, but I can't wait until I can be done with this job and back to being home at night.

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!

Troy and Katie's Wedding

First a disclaimer: All these pictures were taken and stolen from my wonderful sis-in-law Ruthy who I know won't mind that I stole the from her blog. I know she won't mind because hers is so dang cute I can't compete. (My camera is totally broken at the moment)
Thursday Brooks baby brother got married! It was just a perfect day, besides the cold! It started for me at 7:00 am doing the brides hair and yummy Dunford doughnuts Ruthy brought over. Then we left for the Temple where Lexi and Kyler watched all the cousins in the waiting room. We filled their pockets with candy to help.

Then I was able to help Katie(along with my mother-in-law and sister-in-law) in the beautiful Brides room to get ready after the ceremony. Pictures were FREEZING, but still fun!

Here are some pictures from the reception of the cutest kids ever!!

And a pretty cute family too!

These are some pics from the luncheon at Gardner Village. The food was great!
It was a wonderful day! Congratulations Troy and Katie!
(Now time to diet! I counted that night that I probably ate at least 6000 calories+:
Doughnuts in the morning, chocolate lava cake at the luncheon and some of Lexi' s carrot cake, fudge from the candy store in Gardner Village, an eclair at the reception plus a bite of my kids brownie and ice cream and to top it off-wedding cake!)

Our weekend at Janise's cabin

Whe got to spend conference weedend with a great friend of the family Janise, and the Fuller family. It was so much fun bonding with wild life IN and out of the cabin!

The kids wanted to spend every minute outside, even though it was a bit chilly. Parker is consantly making things out of everything he finds and getting dirty.

The kids loved feeding the chipmunks. Grandma would say throw the food, I taught them to hold it in their hand.

During conference we had a good time doing each others hair, we had to look good for all the moose and deer we saw!

We went on two hikes a day to burn off all the great food we ate. Then we would head back and make more food. It was the life!

Having fun with the girls! Thank you family for such a good time!

Parkers Baptism

Thank you to all our wonderful friends and family
who came to support Parker, even when I am horrible about making invites,(so sorry Reid).

Here are some pictures of all who came.

It has been a great day for Parker! He got to be the first one in our ward to get baptized at our brand new stake center, and the very first one to get baptized in the font. Pretty cool. I was at little nervous he wouldn't be able to touch the bottom but he did (barely).
We are so proud of you Parker! Thank you for being such a great son!!
